Tank Command is a vertical scrolling shooter where your tank must destroy obstacles and reach an enemy flag across three increasingly brutal stages. You’ll eliminate tanks, jeeps, and foot soldiers while managing limited fuel and ammo. Bonuses replenish resources temporarily but disappear quickly. The challenge comes from tight shooting and navigating waves of enemies that grow more aggressive each level. Success means surviving long enough to plant the flag and escape. This Atari 7800 title is rare and pricey, but its appeal is limited. The difficulty skyrockets after the first lenient stage, punishing mistakes harshly. While similar to other shooters of the era, it lacks refined level design and polish. The garish pink backgrounds and abrupt difficulty shifts make it frustrating for modern players. Froggo Games released it only in NTSC, adding to its collector status but not its playability.
