About

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is a co-operative beat 'em up inspired by the 2012 Nickelodeon animated series. Players take control of one of the four brothers as they battle waves of Foot Soldiers across New York rooftops. The story follows the Turtles as they stop a Mutagen bomb plot and rescue April from Shredder’s grasp. Combat focuses on basic brawling, weapon switches, and team attacks. The game supports local co-op and leans heavily into the show’s visual style with colorful environments and cartoonish animations. The game launched in October 2013 for Xbox 360, Wii, and 3DS. A 2015 physical bundle combined it with a follow-up title but digital copies vanished in 2017 due to licensing issues. While not critically acclaimed, its faithful adaptation of the show’s early season villains and simple multiplayer made it a niche pick for series fans. The 3DS version remains the most collectible due to its limited release.

Storyline

One night, while the four Turtles are on the rooftops of New York, they are ambushed by Foot Soldiers. Later, they find out -- with the help of April -- the Foot Soldiers have built a Mutagen bomb to mutate the entire New York city. After the brothers have defused the bomb, the Turtles get a call from April's cell phone, which has been hijacked by Shredder. He has kidnapped April and demands that the Turtles bring him Splinter.
