"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants is a decent addition to the collection of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games. It succeeds by playing it safe. The two original arcade games are regarded as great arcade brawlers in addition to being some of the better Turtles games, and the gameplay of Wrath of the Mutants is heavily patterned after Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time. Fans of the franchise and genre will undoubtedly enjoy playing through the game once or twice, but outside of collecting all the trophies, there isn't much incentive for repeated playthroughs. There are no different game modes, no collectibles and the only difference in difficulty levels is the number of lives. Even with the additional content, it takes only slightly more than an hour to put an end to Shredder's plans and rescue April. It's fun enough to kill some time on a boring afternoon, but even the most hardcore Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan would hesitate to say this game kicks some serious shell."

Danger of the Ooze lets you control four anthropomorphic turtles in a side-scrolling adventure. You jump punch and use signature weapons like nunchucks and staffs to fight waves of enemies. The game mixes platforming with beat em up combat and brief fighting game moments when boss battles pop up. Set in a cartoonish New York you explore sewers rooftops and Shredder’s lairs. Each level has collectibles and hidden paths to unlock. The story follows the Turtles as they battle villains from the 2012 animated series including new threats and familiar foes. The game pulls from older TMNT titles with its level design and simple but responsive controls. Fans of the franchise might notice references to the 1989 NES game in the structure and enemy placement. While not a massive hit it has a small but dedicated following. Available on older consoles and 3DS it’s a nostalgic pick for players who want a straightforward action game with a retro feel. The single player campaign takes about six to eight hours to finish with extra challenges for replayability.
