Danger of the Ooze lets you control four anthropomorphic turtles in a side-scrolling adventure. You jump punch and use signature weapons like nunchucks and staffs to fight waves of enemies. The game mixes platforming with beat em up combat and brief fighting game moments when boss battles pop up. Set in a cartoonish New York you explore sewers rooftops and Shredder’s lairs. Each level has collectibles and hidden paths to unlock. The story follows the Turtles as they battle villains from the 2012 animated series including new threats and familiar foes. The game pulls from older TMNT titles with its level design and simple but responsive controls.
