You play as a tester for a clueless developer hyperventilating over his "masterpiece." Each level parodies a different genre, puzzle, shooter, renovation, horror, etc., with escalating absurdity. The developer narrates your progress in patronizing voice memos, praising your "perseverance" as you stumble through glitchy, half-baked mechanics. Expect sudden shifts in tone, nonsensical objectives, and the occasional building-wide blackout caused by a patch update. The game leans into its own incompetence as a feature, forcing you to laugh at the chaos while trying to parse what's broken next. The real charm is how it weaponizes its own incompetence. Hidden humor emerges in the developer’s rambling feedback and the sheer variety of genre experiments, some of which work better than others. While not for players seeking polished experiences, the meta-joke of testing a game that constantly breaks itself has landed it in the top 10 "Most Unconventional Indie Games" lists on niche forums. You’ll be testing things like a sentient toaster RPG and a puzzle where the floor "is" actually lava. Just don’t expect any answers.

YOU! Yes, YOU! How’d you like to become a video game tester? Help a developer test out several game prototypes he's thrown together in his quest to discover the ultimate formula for creating the perfect video game. He’ll guide you, watch your every move, and provide insightful comments throughout your journey and tests. (Insightful? Really?) These levels will put to the test: Your patience Your willpower Your logic Your deduction skills Your calm Your perseverance Your patience twice Your emotions Your improvisation While his work borders on perfection (it doesn’t), you might very occasionally run into some minor bugs. (He once took down the power in the entire building after a patch.) You'll explore a wide variety of game genres, puzzles, shooters, collectathons, renovation sims, horror, suspense, walking simulators, RPGs… and more. All these levels are based on 100% original ideas, carefully crafted specifically for his work. (Not true at all.) No one’s expecting perfection from you, mistakes are human, and we’re all human!
