About

This PlayStation puzzle title pairs classic block-stacking mechanics with the Cardcaptor Sakura anime. Players control the flow of falling tetrominoes to fill horizontal lines and clear them, progressing through stages that tie to the franchise’s magic card transformation theme. Each completed line contributes to converting collectible cards from their Clow form into Star variants, with shifting objectives that mix pattern recognition and quick reflexes. Released in 2000, it’s one of the few licensed games to merge Tetris with a non-gaming IP. While it lacks multiplayer or deep story elements, the premise of repurposing a well-known game mechanic for a specific narrative goal gives it a distinct charm. Small but dedicated fanbases often highlight its clever use of the Cardcaptor universe to add context to a familiar formula.

Storyline

Even though Sakura successfully captured all of the Clow Cards, strange events are still happening in Tomoeda! Help Sakura transform all of her Clow Cards into Star Cards by filling in specific rows with Tetris blocks.
