About

A sequel to The 7th Guest, The 11th Hour drops you into a decaying mansion owned by the twisted Henry Stauf. Play as Carl Denning, a journalist hunting for his missing lover. Solve complex puzzles and navigate eerie, pre-rendered 3D environments to figure out the house's secrets. Each room feels like a trap, with cryptic clues and shifting dangers. Dialogue is sparse but loaded with dread, letting the atmosphere do the storytelling. The game’s handcrafted environments and layered puzzles set it apart. Its 22 detailed rooms took nearly three years to build, creating a claustrophobic, unsettling vibe. Players often cite the tension of making wrong moves that lead to dead ends. Released in 1995, it’s a relic of early 3D adventure design. The lack of hand-holding and reliance on logic over action makes it a cult favorite for puzzle enthusiasts.

Storyline

The ill-fated mansion of deranged toymaker Henry Stauf has been left to corrode and decompose for 70 years. However, the ominous silence only concealed the deadly legacy of madness and, when a journalist named Carl Denning arrives to search for his missing lover, the malignant past and undying forces are brought back to the real world. From the second you enter the mansion, every moment is filled with horror. Three mysterious women are your only guides as you try to escape the haunted house.
