The Adventures of Cookie & Cream casts two characters in a puzzle-platformer where teamwork is key. Each level requires switching between the duo to solve environmental challenges navigate traps and avoid enemies eager to snack on them. The controls feel tight for a 2000 release with physics-based puzzles that demand timing and coordination. Co-op play is front and center whether sharing a controller or playing locally. This PlayStation 2 title came from the team at FromSoftware during an early era of cooperative game design. While not a critical darling it carved a niche with its family-friendly approach and dual-character mechanics. Released in December 2000 it remains a relic of co-op platforming before online play dominated the space. The simple art style and lighthearted tone stand out compared to heavier titles from the same developers later in their career.
