The Amazing Eternals is a turn-based shooter where you build decks of cards to control your characters in combat. You play as one of several immortal beings and take turns moving units while playing action cards that trigger attacks or defenses. The game supports multiplayer matches and co-op modes on PC, letting you team up against others or face off in competitive lobbies. Digital Extremes designed the system to mix tactical planning with fast paced shooting mechanics during each phase of play. The project struggled to find a stable player base before servers shut down, so finding active matchmaking can be tough right now. This lack of population means most people end up playing against AI bots or in private rooms rather than jumping into quick public matches. The deck building layer adds real depth to the combat, but you need a dedicated group to get the full experience since the automated systems feel less engaging than human opponents. It remains an interesting experiment in blending card games with strategy shooters, even if the community has largely moved on.
