The Backrooms Footage puts you in a room with a found camera. Its video can't be rewound, and fast forwarding plunges you into a shifting, maze-like space. You wander these endless corridors while figuring out the footage's secrets. The gameplay leans on exploration and urgency, mixing quick-time actions with environmental puzzles. Single or co-op play lets you tackle the chaos solo or with friends. What sets it apart is the relentless pacing and claustrophobic atmosphere. Players note the tight loop of curiosity and dread as you piece together why the footage exists. While it doesn't break new genre ground, the collaborative angle and short playthroughs make it a tense pick for small groups. The PC and Linux release keeps it niche but functional for those already in the system.
