The Culling of the Cows is a side-scrolling shooter with tower defense mechanics. You play as Sammy a farmer armed with a shotgun and a one-track mind. His goal is to blast and trap diseased cows invading his land while muttering increasingly unhinged monologues. The gameplay loops between direct combat and placing barriers or turrets to slow waves of sick livestock. Each level forces you to manage limited resources and adapt to new threats as the farm descends further into chaos. What sets this apart is its bizarre tone. Sammy’s self-proclaimed divine mandate to “kill them all” collides with dry humor and abrupt violence. The mix of frantic shooting and tactical planning feels uneven but deliberate reflecting the protagonist’s figuring out sanity. Storyline

With his dusty old 12 gauge at his side and god at his back, Sammy isn’t going to be taking too kindly to the infectious chaos of the big city’s leaking its way out into wild country. When all the lunacy started Sammy consulted God on what he should do, and the response was. KILL THEM! KILL THEM ALL!!!!
