Each choice affects your progress. Miss a clue and the case could collapse. Get interrogation timing wrong and suspects might refuse to talk again. The Darkest Files sets its puzzle-solving in a morally complex historical context. With cases based on real events, the game forces you to work with incomplete records and a public unwilling to confront past atrocities. The challenge lies in balancing thorough investigation with limited time before key evidence disappears. Storyline

You are Esther Katz, a young prosecutor who has just joined Fritz Bauer's new special unit.
