The Dwarves drops you into a war-torn realm where a squad of 15 dwarven warriors must outthink overwhelming odds. Combat unfolds in real time but pauses for tactical menu choices between engagements letting you assign abilities and movement. Each hero brings distinct playstyles from axe-wielding brutes to spellcasting support. You’ll face hordes of orcs trolls and other creatures across varied battlefields. Depth comes from balancing hero roles and adapting to enemy types. While not as widely discussed as bigger RPGs it holds a 75 on Metacritic from early 2016 reviews. Available on PS4 PC Xbox and Mac. A straightforward strategy experience for those who like planning ahead in fantasy battles.
