The Flash is a 1993 platformer that puts you in control of the Scarlet Speedster during a citywide crime wave. Navigate Central City's streets, docks, and factories while dodging bullets, gas clouds, and gangsters in high-speed chases. Use your super speed to zip between obstacles and unleash rapid attacks, all while figuring out who's behind the coordinated criminal assault. The game leans into the hero's signature velocity with twitchy controls and checkpoint-based levels that mix action and exploration. Developed by Probe Software for the Sega Master System, the game arrived two years after the end of the 1990 Flash TV series. It captures the show's chaotic energy with brightly colored environments and over-the-top enemy encounters. Though short by modern standards, its blend of platforming and beat-'em-up elements made it a cult pick for 90s Sega fans. The single-player campaign stays true to the comic's spirit, even if the villain reveal feels a bit rushed.

Storyline

Central City is Under Siege! The Scarlet Speedster has his hands full! Gangs of cutthroats, rogues and maniacs have launched an all out assault on Central City. Shooting wildly in high speed chases with the authorities, these bandits threaten to take control. Only the super speed of The Flash can halt the mayhem and bring these criminals to justice. Which mysterious super villain has united all of Central City '3 underworld into an unstoppable army? Race through dark alleyways, gloomy dock-yards and a chemical warehouse to find out!
