This game blends the Idolmaster's live-performance energy with Taiko no Tatsujin's drum-bashing mechanics. You tap and swipe to hit drums in time with music while idols perform onscreen. Each track mixes pre-recorded vocals with your real-time inputs creating a back-and-forth between rhythm and spectacle. The single-player mode focuses on mastering timing through a setlist of curated songs. The crossover pulls in recognizable characters from Idolmaster while keeping Taiko's core loop of satisfying whacks and near-misses. No multiplayer or extra modes but the portable Vita format makes it easy to squeeze in quick sessions. Released in late 2015 it remains a niche pick for fans already familiar with both franchises.
