This platformer lets you guide Timon and Pumbaa through side-scrolling levels filled with obstacles and enemies. You collect items jump over gaps and use basic attacks to clear paths. The controls feel tight for the Famicom era but the level design leans on familiar formulas from earlier entries in the series. Each stage tests timing and precision with a focus on straightforward platforming challenges. Developed by Dragon Co this title arrived just weeks before the Famicom’s official Japanese discontinuation. While it expands on the characters’ adventures it doesn’t introduce major mechanics or surprises. Players who completed the 1996 sequel might find this a brief 20-hour extension of the same formula. With no online presence or modern re-releases it remains a niche entry for collectors or those deep into 90s platformer history.
