About

The Mark is a first-person shooter with dual single-player campaigns and co-op play. You take control of two protagonists Steve Fletcher and Austin Hawke each with their own 18-level story. Fletcher hunts terrorists who kidnapped his sister while Hawke deals with the same threat from a mercenary angle. Both paths cross in shared objectives but play differently based on character roles. The game supports co-op for joint missions plus deathmatch and map control multiplayer. A level editor lets players design custom maps. The game stands out for its split narratives and co-op flexibility. Each character has distinct motivations but overlapping goals creating opportunities for teamwork. With 15 weapons and hazards like suicide bombers and ricochets it emphasizes tactical play. Released in 2006 it leans into early 2000s FPS design with screen blur effects and direct combat loops. Multiplayer options remain functional though modern standards may find the graphics dated.
