The gameplay mixes precise jumps with brain teasers that demand creative use of your abilities. Each level feels like a new challenge as you figure out how to manipulate the environment and avoid dangers that can still harm your incorporeal form. Mega Cat Studios crafts everything with retro charm packing 40+ levels into a pixelated package that feels like a classic NES title reborn. The Veal and Raw modes adjust difficulty without feeling repetitive and the ghostly powers offer more variety than most platformers. With a Metacritic score in the mid 80s it’s a nostalgic throwback with enough new twists to feel fresh.
