About

The Missing Few follows Jack Norwood as he returns to the remote town of Staten after 11 years to investigate his son’s unsolved disappearance. Playing as Jack, you explore the decaying rural landscape, comb through abandoned homes, and piece together clues from scattered documents and environmental hints. The game blends methodical searching with logic-based puzzles tied to the environment, pushing you to connect fragments of a story that locals seem determined to keep buried. Progress unfolds through environmental storytelling rather than dialogue, with the weight of Jack’s grief subtly woven into the design. Set in a town that feels deliberately off-kilter, the game leans into a slow-burn atmosphere of unease. The lack of direct exposition forces you to question every detail, a design choice that earned praise from fans of atmospheric mysteries. With no multiplayer options and a runtime of roughly 8-10 hours, it’s a frontloaded experience where the final act’s twists aim to recontextualize everything you’ve uncovered. Available on PS4, PC, and Xbox One, it carves a niche for players who enjoy piecing together stories from shadows and silence.
