About

Princess Lumi is stuck in a frozen castle owned by a demon lord, trapped in a world where winter never ends. This visual novel leans into the absurdity of her situation, turning her forced cohabitation with a reluctant hero into a mix of deadpan comedy and idle musings. Players navigate dialogue-heavy scenes where Lumi complains about the bleak surroundings, terrible food, and endless boredom while bonding with her unexpected companion. The gameplay loops around conversational choices that shape their dynamic, with minimal combat or quests, just tea breaks, awkward banter, and small rebellions against their captivity. The game’s charm lies in its tone, balancing dark premises with lighthearted character moments. Lumi’s entitled yet vulnerable personality clashes with the hero’s survivalist pragmatism, creating oddly sweet tension. While the story doesn’t stretch beyond its cozy confines, the writing leans into slow-burn humor and niche visual gags. Available on multiple platforms since late 2021, it’s a short but quirky pick for fans of dialogue-driven narratives with a touch of irreverence.

Storyline

Princess Lumi has been held captive in the demon lord’s castle situated in a land of everlasting winter. She hates it. It’s cold, it’s lonely, the food is bad, and there’s literally nothing to do! The only good thing about this place is the tea and snacks. Princess: "I know I said I’d help you out, but I am exhausted. I'd be willing to do something else though." Hero(?): "Of course! As long as you don’t kick me out of here." … These are the days of winter they spent together.
