About

You guide Aladdin across shifting platforms and ancient traps using his magical carpet. The game mixes sliding tile puzzles with physics-based challenges like balancing planks on pillars or stacking blocks to clear paths. Each level requires careful planning and precise timing as you navigate between locations to stop Ali Baba and rescue the princess. Controls are straightforward but the puzzles grow progressively tricky, requiring you to juggle multiple objectives at once. The game leans heavily into its Middle Eastern folklore roots with colorful environments and familiar characters. While it doesn't break new ground mechanically, the mix of platforming and brain teasers offers a decent 8-10 hour experience. Released in 2007 for PlayStation 2, it's a polished but overlooked entry in the adventure genre with a solid Metacritic score of 72. The story moves at a brisk pace and the carpet-based mechanics add a neat twist to standard puzzle tropes.
