The Rogue Cavern drops you into a never-ending underground maze that shifts every time you start over. You control a character who runs and jumps across platforms while hunting for loot hidden in the dark. The map changes completely with each run, so you cannot rely on memorizing layout paths. You need to keep moving forward as obstacles appear and enemies block your way through this roguevania-style adventure. Sean Frett built this indie title to test how well players can adapt when they know nothing about the level ahead. Community members rate it highly for its tight controls and the tension of facing unknown threats in a new cave system every session. The game does not hold your hand or slow down just because you are struggling. It simply keeps generating deeper levels until you find the right gear to survive longer.
