A minimalist RPG where you navigate a looping dungeon on a tropical island that’s hiding rot beneath its cheerful facade. Explore procedurally generated floors by buying tickets, fighting resettable monsters, and collecting loot. Your decisions shape encounters and expose cracks in the system, like workers fixing traps between raids or creatures trapped in a respawn cycle. Leveling up feels earned but the meta-narrative twists the formula, hinting at a deeper story buried beneath the grind. The game leans into its self-aware design, poking fun at RPG tropes while letting you figure out its paradoxes. The Glitchy Dragon’s rebellion against the island’s broken rules adds a chaotic edge, pushing you to question who’s really in control. Early builds on similar frameworks scored 82% on Indiemingle for clever worldbuilding, though some found the combat repetitive. Still, the hook of a dungeon that’s both playground and prison keeps you digging deeper.
You're stuck on an Adventure Island. There's a local attraction - the Dungeon, where you can raid, explore, loot, gain experience and level up. Just buy an adventurer's ticket, pass a turnstile, enter the elevator and choose the floor. The workers of the Island's administration make sure that traps are working, torches are lit and monsters are healed after raids. At the first glance, everything seems PERFECT for an aspiring adventurer, so why leave? Turns out that everything is not as it seems. There's a dark, dirty secret that the Cool King is hiding. Which is not cool. Monsters are tired of the constant respawn loop, their lives are like a groundhog day. But the main monster, the Glitchy Dragon, went out of control and broke the game's rules in order to find the right person for his (in)genius plan. Maybe it's you? It's up to you to decide!
