About

A man made of cactus stumps, arms, and grit strolls through a world chewed up by the end. The Saboten Man nudges, pulls, and jostles his way across three settings: a crumbling East Town, a scorching desert, and a scrap-metal planet. Each area holds puzzles to nudge along with the simplest of controls. The game is all about poking around, lifting odd items, and hoping the world shifts to let you through. This oddball 1995 title has a following that's grown around its deadpan tone and pixelated charm. It's a game that trusts players to mess around and find their own path. The lack of hand-holding and the cactus man's silent persistence make for a strange kind of memorable adventure. Small, but not slight, there's a stubborn joy in its simplicity that still clicks with fans.
