About

The Seventh Sign: Mr. Sister is a visual novel that wraps a survivalist premise around a quirky family drama. Protagonist Reiji finds himself bound to a weakened cat god named Fuuko, whose remaining divine power is embedded in his body. To separate their fates before a lethal deadline, the two must endure a summer of emotionally charged trials at his academy. Meanwhile Reiji navigates life as the "older sister" to his eccentric sibling Erika, whose feline traits complicate an already tangled situation. The story unfolds through branching dialogue and relationship management, blending supernatural stakes with slice-of-life校园 antics. The game’s charm lies in its offbeat blend of absurdity and sincerity. The central trio’s dynamic balances slapstick moments with genuine character depth, though pacing dips during lengthy exposition scenes. With a 7.3/10 average from 40+ critic reviews, it’s praised for its original premise but criticized for uneven execution. Casual players drawn to character-driven stories over action will find its mix of schoolyard chaos and cosmic dread moderately engaging. The community’s lone "Casual" vote hints at its relaxed rhythm despite life-or-death stakes.

Storyline

“Good morning, sis!” Vividly blonde hair and cat ears — the beloved half-sister, Aoba Erika, once again visits the room of Reiji — her male sister. Yes, male. Reiji is her older brother, unquestionably a man, but he is also her older sister. And her cat ears are indeed the genuine article — ones that appear and disappear thanks to a certain impetus, and can’t be taken off. There are certain, complicated circumstances that led to this, but Reiji himself has accepted it. He neither corrects her, nor does he speak effeminately, as he continues his life. Regardless, this isn’t exactly the daily routine of the Aoba household. Obviously a sister should refer to her brother as a brother, and her cat ears shouldn’t even exist. Once I resolve the problem of the fragments of divine power within me, the issue with Erika should be resolved as well — so Reiji thinks to himself in distress, once again.
