You play as Jay Smith, a man returning to a hotel he doesn’t remember running. The building feels off, rooms shift, corridors stretch, and the staff are more interested in your past than your stay. Solve environmental puzzles to uncover fragmented memories while navigating a space that seems to consume its own history. Control switches between Jay and the cryptic hotelier Libera, whose knowledge of the hotel’s secrets might be just as distorted as your own. The game leans into its low-poly aesthetic to create an unsettling atmosphere, with sudden camera angles and glitch-like transitions amplifying the disorientation. Players on forums note the hotel’s ever-changing layout as both a challenge and a narrative device, though some found the puzzle clues a bit sparse. With roots in early 2000s RPG Maker horror games, it updates the genre’s love for cosmic weirdness with minimalist design.
"Jay Smith," the protagonist, left his own hotel a decade ago. One day, he receives a blank letter from his hotel and decides to visit it once again. So much had changed since he was gone, and no trace of the past could be found in the new hotel. And he is shocked to learn that the hotel he used to run in the past, never even existed in the first place. While exploring the hotel, obviously shocked, Jay gets to know the hotelier "Libera" who seems to know something about the hotel. Can the two people with their own share of secrets help each other and discover the mystery within the hotel?
