The Walking Dead: Last Mile is a browser-based survival game where you build and manage a team of survivors in a zombie-infested Alaska. Each session lets you assign tasks like fending off undead hordes or repairing critical infrastructure. Success in these challenges earns points you trade for votes on major story choices affecting your group’s future. What sets it apart is the live community-driven narrative. Skybound Games designed it as a Massively Interactive Live Event with no fixed endpoint. Since launch in 2022 players have collectively decided character fates and resource allocations. While the simple mini-game mechanics won’t win awards the persistent world and shared decision making creates an experience that changes daily based on player input.
