The game adds Legends Matches where you face off against retired pros like Arnold Palmer or Jack Nicklaus in head to head challenges. The character creation tool from prior entries returns with more customization options for gear and physical traits. Multiplayer modes include both local splitscreen and online tournaments depending on the platform. With ports on five systems at launch it remains one of the most widely available EA Sports golf titles of the early 2000s.
