About

Tim 7 Et Les Fouilles Interdites is a point-and-click adventure game that blends puzzle-solving with history lessons. Developed by Ubi Soft in 1997, it casts you as a memory-erased protagonist trapped on a mysterious island. To escape, you piece together clues tied to ancient civilizations and modern geography. The gameplay leans heavily on inventory-based interactions and dialogue choices, guiding you through topics like Egyptian pharaohs, Greek democracy, and Roman expansion. Each location serves as a lesson in world history, with puzzles designed to reinforce key facts. The game stands out for its educational focus, though its 90s-era presentation shows its age. While not as polished as later Ubi Soft titles, it offers a niche blend of learning and light adventure mechanics. Its single-player structure and straightforward puzzles make it a curiosity for fans of retro point-and-clicks. With a runtime of around 5-8 hours, it’s a brisk but dated dive into classroom material repurposed as escapism.

Storyline

Gaaf forbids Sam and Junior from continuing their archaeological research and he confuses their results in order to keep the position of the island secret. Tim 7 will gather all the knowledge available on the island to put his friends' results in order and thus find out where he is being held prisoner...
