The split-screen co-op lets two players team up, one controlling the hero while the other takes on a supporting role. Gameplay leans on quick reflexes and timing, with levels that mix platforming and action. Despite its 1985 roots, Time Gal holds up for its clever use of time-based challenges and the co-op feature, which was rare for arcade games at the time.
