You steer a Togepi through a multi level tower filled with pitfalls and moving hazards. The goal is simple, reach the exit while keeping the little egg shaped Pokémon balanced on its feet. Controls rely on the Pokémon mini’s built in gyroscope letting you tilt the device to navigate. The system’s limitations mean levels are short but precise requiring steady hands and quick reflexes. There’s no combat or dialogue just a series of increasingly tricky platforming challenges. The use of motion controls was rare for handheld games at the time making this one a curiosity among collectors. Released in late 2002 it’s often overlooked but remains a solid example of creative experimentation on a niche system. Short play sessions and a lack of complexity keep it accessible though the Pokémon mini’s small screen and button layout might feel restrictive to newcomers. A quick escape plan for fans of minimalist puzzle platformers.
The objective of the game is to guide a Togepi out of a tower, while avoiding traps along the way.
