Tokobot is a platformer where you guide Bolt through ancient ruins filled with traps and enemies. Along the way he teams up with Tokobots small robots that combine into tools. Stack them to make a ladder swing them as a grappling hook or form wings for short flights. Each level requires figuring out how to pair Bolt's agility with the robots' abilities. The challenge comes from learning which combinations work best in different situations. The game stands out for its creative use of robot teamwork. While not widely discussed today fans remember the satisfaction of solving puzzles through experimentation. Released in 2006 it ran on Vita and PSP offering a portable puzzle-platform experience. The straightforward controls and level design keep things accessible even as puzzles get tricky. A niche title but the combo system feels fresh compared to similar games.
