Tokyo 23-Ku Seifuku Wars

About

Tokyo 23-Ku Seifuku Wars is a 1998 PlayStation game where schoolgirls in high-tech uniforms battle in a ruined Tokyo. You select a team and engage in action-packed fights that mix turn-based strategy with real-time button-mashing. Between matches you upgrade your gear and plan tactics to dominate opponents. This cult classic surprises with its mix of cute characters and heavy metal action. Though it never made it to the West it’s remembered for its vibrant art and fast combat. Players praise the game’s over-the-top finishing moves and 90s anime flair even if the controls show their age.
