Tonko 4 is the concluding chapter in a long running platform series. You navigate a 3D world filled with jumps moving platforms and scattered collectibles. The controls stick to simple keyboard inputs focusing on precise movement through each level. While the visuals show their age the core challenge of avoiding hazards and reaching checkpoints remains intact. Progression relies on trial and error with some sections demanding perfect timing to advance. As the last game developed by TWIM before their shift away from PC platforms Tonko 4 feels like a quiet goodbye to the franchise's earlier experiments. Though it lacks the polish of later 3D platformers longtime fans might appreciate the straightforward design. The single player campaign offers about eight hours of play with hidden items encouraging multiple runs. Anicom's release in 1999 positioned it as a PC focused follow up to the series' console roots but its legacy now rests mostly with niche retro gaming communities.
