"An immediate sell to most 2D fighting game buffs, the developer French Bread has a great reputation going in. Combined with their relationship to Type-Moon this may be a gateway to pull in a new audience. With the fluidity and freedom during gameplay Under Night In-Birth EXE:Late goes further to improve the 2D fighting game genre and with the addition of the GRD mechanic, skill is very much rewarded. While the game may not be the most user-friendly for newcomers to the genre, it certainly deserves a look."

Mr Pixel Productions made a weird horror game inspired by Mario. You wander around creepy messed up places trying to find secrets and avoid random dangers. Instead of fighting you stay alive by figuring out the environment. The visuals are off putting with weird shapes and flickering images and the sounds are jarring and random What makes this stand out is the disturbing vibe. It’s not about combat or power ups but creating a tense mood. The game plays with classic Mario elements and turns them creepy. It’s short but leaves a strong impression. Some players online mention it’s a quick but intense experience though not for the easily spooked. If you like creepy atmospheres and don’t mind a fan made project this might hook you
