A visual novel mixing romance and mystery with branching narratives. Set five years before its predecessor, it follows a chance encounter with Chiaki, a troubled youth whose life intertwines with the player’s after a fateful night. The story shifts to a secluded island detention center where suspicion and secrets run deep. As Chiaki’s appointed counselor, choices drive the investigation into a past incident, uncovering fragmented memories that challenge relationships and truths. Dialogue options shape outcomes in a plot heavy on emotional tension and moral dilemmas. The game stands out for its layered character dynamics and high-stakes drama. With over 20 possible endings reported by players, decisions carry weight. Capcom’s narrative polish shines in the pacing and dialogue, though the iOS/Android port may lack some visual flair seen on Switch. Fans of branching storylines and psychological twists often praise its mature themes and unexpected plot turns. A 15-20 hour commitment with minimal gameplay beyond text choices.
