Toride is a mahjong solitaire puzzle game with added resource management. You clear tiles by matching pairs but must store them in a limited hand at the bottom of the screen. If your hand fills up with unpaired tiles or you run out of time you lose. The timer depletes as you pause between moves but refills when you make progress. Special tiles can extend the clock adding tension to every decision. This 1994 Super Famicom title keeps things simple but sharpens the mechanics with its hand management twist. The seasonal and flower tiles offer flexible pairing but require strategic thinking. With no multiplayer options it leans fully into its single player challenge loop.
