The world has already ended. The protagonist, Okappa, wakes up to find her home overrun by killer beasts. She meets Shinshi, a white rabbit who will guide her through this ruined world. Meanwhile the other protagonist, a young Tanuki named Tantanuki begins his new life at PonPon school, a cheerful school that specializes in teaching machinery to beasts.
