Tower of the Ice Lich turns a retro card game into a pixelated dungeon crawl with dice-driven decisions. You pick one of six heroes, each with personal stakes in climbing a cursed tower. Every floor forces you to read room descriptions, choose actions, and roll dice to determine success. Manage two separate gauges, health and sanity, both of which send you back to the start if they hit zero. The tower is unforgiving, but you can use a limited luck pool to reroll critical dice. The goal is simple: survive long enough to confront the ice-bound boss at the summit. What makes it stick is the blend of old-school randomness and tight resource management. The six characters don’t just look different, they react to the tower’s horrors in distinct ways, subtly shifting how you play. While short by modern standards, the game’s difficulty curve and branching paths keep multiple runs feeling fresh. Players who enjoy tactical risk-reward loops and don’t mind permadeath will find satisfaction in its 16-bit grit.
Tower of the Ice Lich has six different playable characters, each with their own reasons for challenging the Lich. pick your character - enter the tower - read every room and encounter description and pick your action - dice will determine if you are successful in challenges - use luck to reroll important dicerolls - you DIE if your health or sanity reaches 0. If you can make it to the top of the tower you can challenge the lich Good luck adventurer
