Tradesman Deal to Dealer is a life sim where you manage a mobile marketplace on the back of a horse or bear. As a traveling merchant, you buy goods in one town and sell them where they fetch higher prices. Each settlement has distinct wares and needs, stock up on fish in a coastal hamlet, resupply tools in a mining outpost, or trade with villagers who want to barter ale for iron. Movement is slow but deliberate, requiring careful route planning to balance inventory and cash flow. The charm comes from quirky location design and the absurdity of a bear pulling your cart through muddy roads. While not mechanically deep, the game leans into cozy, low-pressure economics with a focus on small-scale trade. It’s a breezy way to spend an afternoon if you like tending to virtual markets, though it lacks the complexity to keep you invested long term.
The protagonist is a young merchant who has left his grandfather’s hometown. With goods loaded onto a wagon (or even a bear-drawn cart), he sets out on a journey across the world, traveling from town to town and village to village.
