Trapped is a tense action-adventure puzzle game where you play as Aki, a teenager stranded in her family's decaying manor. With no weapons, you evade relentless undead creatures while solving environmental puzzles to uncover why you’re stuck. Each room feels like a timed test, flee from shambling threats, explore hidden passages, and piece together fragmented memories of Aki’s past. The lack of combat means every decision hinges on stealth and quick thinking. What sets it apart are the layered mysteries and the manor itself. Six distinct areas, from a creaking ballroom to a cryptic garden maze, offer cleverly hidden clues. The game’s charm comes from its small details: chatty cats that occasionally drop hints, and puzzles where mundane objects become key tools. While it lacks combat, the constant threat of monsters keeps the pace tight. A simple but effective blend of horror and deduction, with a runtime that leans short but impactful.
