Trash Squad is an indie shooter with RPG elements that lets you battle waves of enemies across randomly generated levels. You pick a character class and upgrade skills as you move through each stage fighting hordes of monsters with a variety of weapons and abilities. The single-player campaign keeps things fresh by reshuffling environments and enemy layouts each time you play. The game’s random level design and progression system make it feel different with every run. While it’s not as polished as bigger titles fans of fast-paced action and character builds might enjoy the challenge. Over a dozen levels offer decent replay value though some players note the difficulty spikes early on.
