Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes tosses players into a chaotic mix of action and story. You play as Travis Touchdown, a retired assassin dragged back into trouble after a sudden attack. The game blends fast beat-'em-up combat with platforming and item-based boss fights. A co-op mode lets two players team up, combining attacks for bigger damage. The single-player campaign leans into absurd humor and over-the-top set pieces. The co-op mode is a standout, encouraging teamwork without forcing it. Reviews highlight the game’s frenetic pace and creative boss designs, though some note it feels rushed compared to earlier entries. With a 79% on Metacritic, it’s a chaotic ride best played with a friend.
Seven years have passed since the beginning of Travis Touchdown's dealings with the United Assassins Association. He has since isolated himself and lives in a trailer with his cat Jeane. One night, Touchdown is tracked down by Badman, father of the deceased assassin Bad Girl, who Touchdown killed on his first climb up the UAA rankings. Badman attacks Touchdown, but their fight is cut short when Touchdown's "phantom" Death Drive Mark II game console absorbs them.
