Tray Racers! is a chaotic racing game where players control a scrappy kid zipping around a sunbaked wasteland. Using nothing but a tray as both vehicle and tool you bounce across shifting sands leap over bouncy cacti and hitch rides on giant worms. The world is a mess of neon and dust filled with randomly generated tracks that mix sand dunes crumbling ruins and clusters of giggling critters. Play solo or join up to 16 others in fast paced races that favor quick reflexes and even quicker thinking. Every session feels different thanks to the ever changing layouts and unpredictable hazards. The game’s charm comes from its goofy physics and bright visuals. Tracks throw in absurd obstacles like explosive barrels and rolling boulders keeping races high energy and unpredictable. Since launching in April 2023 it’s gained traction in the indie racing scene praised for its addictive multiplayer and low barrier to entry. The free to play model and cross platform support between PC and Switch have helped it build a steady following. It’s not deep but it’s endlessly fun for quick bursts of chaotic competition.
