TRAZ is a puzzle arcade game where you smash blocks using multiple paddles across 64 levels. Each level has paddles in different spots, top and bottom, side and bottom, or stacked vertically. Power-ups fall from broken blocks, unbreakable sections force you to plan, and monsters spawn on screen. Glass tiles bend the ball's path, adding strategy. After clearing a level, you pick the next one from an 8x8 grid, making progress feel more like exploration than a straight path. The co-op mode and level editor really stand out. Up to two players can team up, which changes how you handle paddle placements and timing. Building your own maps keeps the game feeling fresh even after dozens of hours. For a 1988 title, it holds up surprisingly well. Many retro gaming forums mention the clever use of paddles and the way levels evolve, with some calling it one of the most inventive block breakers of its time. Short sessions work best, but the grid system makes it easy to keep coming back.
