Treasure Island is a point-and-click adventure where you play as a lone intern sent to Disney's abandoned Discovery Island in 2003. Strange rumors have sparked interest here, and your team needs proof before they shut down the whole operation. You explore the eerie location alone while solving puzzles and piecing together what went wrong with the previous crew. The game relies on classic inventory management and dialogue choices to uncover the truth behind the odd occurrences. The story leans hard into urban legend territory with a creepy atmosphere that fits the setting perfectly. Players have rated the narrative highly for its tension without relying on jump scares. It manages to feel personal even though you are investigating a cold case of corporate failure. The indie development team took risks with the pacing, and the result is a tight experience that keeps you guessing until the end. You will find yourself wondering if the rumors were just gossip or something much darker waiting in the shadows.
The year is 2003. Strange rumors have surfaced about odd occurrences regarding Disney's abandoned Discovery Island. Combined with the attraction's already sordid past, a small group of people is commissioned to investigate the validity of these rumors and hopefully lay them to rest. However, something has gone horribly wrong. In a vain attempt to recoup their losses, one last intern is sent to the island to pick up the pieces of their research and recover what they can, but it quickly becomes apparent that this island is far from abandoned.
