Trenchpunk is a first person shooter that channels the raw energy of early 3D games with a gritty dieselpunk twist. You’ll navigate crumbling war-torn environments filled with enemies to blast through using a mix of revolvers, shotguns, and experimental weapons. The levels feel tight and fast paced pushing you to rely on quick reflexes and map awareness over fancy mechanics. The game leans heavily into a WWI meets steampunk visual style with soot stained walls and clunky machinery creating a distinct atmosphere. While there's no open world or deep story mode it focuses on straightforward combat that plays like a love letter to 90s FPS design. Released in April 2024 it’s already showing up in speedrun circles for its challenging but fair level layouts.
