Tuff Stuff tasks you with herding rogue plush animals that have turned unexpectedly hostile. You control either Ronny or Bri, darting across bright, cluttered levels to snag these fuzzy foes with a grappling hook. Each level is a scramble of platforming, timing, and basic combat as the toys resist capture in silly but persistent ways. The mechanics are straightforward but occasionally fussy, requiring quick reflexes to avoid hazards and outmaneuver enemies. Progression focuses on collecting all creatures and clearing obstacles without much narrative direction beyond the chaotic premise. The charm of Tuff Stuff comes from its absurd premise and visual style. The cartoonish world contrasts with the toys’ surprisingly aggressive behavior, creating a humorous tension. While the difficulty spikes can feel abrupt, the game leans into its gimmick with consistency. Early levels ease you in with simple captures, but later stages mix in environmental puzzles and multiple targets to keep things from settling into a rhythm. With around 50 levels and a runtime of 6-8 hours, it’s a short but consistently quirky experience.
