About

TumblePop is a fast paced arcade platformer where you play as a ghost hunter using a vacuum gun to suck up enemies and fling them like bouncing balls. Players navigate levels by jumping between platforms, using captured foes as tools to smash obstacles or propel themselves forward. The game supports single player or co op with two hunters working together to clear stages filled with monsters aliens and weird creatures. Simple controls focus on quick reflexes and timing as you dodge hazards and clear each level. What makes TumblePop memorable is its quirky use of enemy physics. Throwing squirming ghosts as projectiles adds a chaotic layer to platforming that feels distinct for its era. Released in 1991 this arcade title leaned into slapstick action and co op teamwork long before those became mainstream. While its pixel art and straightforward design won't win any modern awards fans of retro arcade chaos might find it a fun relic from the early 90s.

Storyline

The game involves one or two ghost-busters who can suck monsters, ghosts, aliens and various other oddball characters into vacuum-cleaner-like devices and spit them back as bouncing/rolling balls.
