About

Tungulus is a first-person adventure game set in a crumbling suburban home where curiosity turns dangerous. You play as a friend helping move into a new house, tasked with checking basement supplies before a party. What starts as a routine errand quickly spirals into isolation as strange noises, flickering lights, and shadowy figures transform the space into a trap. Exploration is tense and methodical, with limited tools to navigate or defend yourself. The game leans into environmental storytelling, using creaking wood and muffled whispers to build unease. The basement itself feels like a living, oppressive character. Players describe the slow-burn horror as more unsettling than gory, with a focus on psychological tension over jump scares. While the plot is straightforward, the atmosphere lingers, many note how the claustrophobic setting and eerie silence stick with you long after the credits. Released in 2017, it’s a short but effective scare for fans of low-budget horror experiments.

Storyline

The protagonist helps a friend settle in a new house, and he decides to have a party. But there is a problem — a friend for the night before the start needs to leave urgently, and he asks the main character to come to his house, namely to go down to the basement and check the supplies prepared for the party and wait for the friend's arrival. But the protagonist does not even realize that he is waiting for the evil inside...
