Turbo Sub is a fast-paced arcade shooter where you pilot a futuristic submarine through waves of alien enemies. The original 1985 version focuses on single-player combat with simple controls and relentless action. The 1991 Atari Lynx port adds two-player co-op, shifting the setting to a 28th-century Earth under siege. Both versions rely on quick reflexes and efficient weapon management as you blast through hordes of invaders. The Lynx version stands out for its early inclusion of local multiplayer on a portable device, a rarity at the time. While the graphics and sound are basic by modern standards, the game’s straightforward design and cooperative play earned it a cult following.
